It's been a busy few months behind the scenes as we continue to build new expeditions, support our customers, and work on some exciting collaborations.
We've got plenty to share, from a rare last-minute opening in the Red Sea to our 2027 Galápagos expeditions and a very special announcement that we've been looking forward to making.

We are really excited to be experiencing this adventure from the comfort of the brand-new steel-hulled Marselia Star, complete with a huge dive deck and diver’s lift.
And for anyone not 100% comfortable with the current political climate, we can assure you that Egypt, and flights into and out of Egypt, are not being impacted in any way.
Our team has visited the Red Sea several times this year already with no concerns, and we will be with you as you plan and embark on this adventure to ensure you are well taken care of.
FORGOTTEN WEAPONS COLLABORATION
We're incredibly excited to announce a brand-new collaboration with Ian McCollum, better known to many as Gun Jesus from the popular YouTube channel, Forgotten Weapons.
Ian shares our passion for history, exploration, and uncovering the stories behind remarkable places and artifacts. Together, we'll be working on several exciting projects that combine expedition diving with historical discovery.
Our Truk 2027 expedition, hosted by Ian, is already fully booked, however, stay tuned for more updates coming soon!

GALAPAGOS 2027 IS ALMOST FULL
We're excited to be returning to the Galápagos Islands in 2027 for two more unforgettable expeditions to one of the world's greatest diving destinations.
Expect schooling hammerheads, whale sharks, marine iguanas, sea lions, mola mola, eagle rays, and some of the highest concentrations of marine life you'll find anywhere on the planet.
We're also delighted to welcome back our good friend Mark Powell, whose technical diving expertise and infectious enthusiasm always make these trips even more memorable.
Whether you're diving open circuit or CCR, this expedition offers incredible diving alongside a great group of passionate divers.

Interest has been exceptionally strong, so if diving in the Galápagos has been sitting on your bucket list, now is the perfect time to secure your place.
A TALE OF THE UNEXPECTED
Sometimes the unexpected happens, and it's during those moments that having an experienced travel team behind you really makes a difference.
Just a few weeks before our June Bikini Atoll expedition, Hotel Ebeye, where our guests were due to stay before boarding the liveaboard, was severely damaged by fire and closed indefinitely. As the only hotel accommodation available on this tiny island, it left any divers traveling to Bikini in a potentially disastrous situation.
For guests booked through Dirty Dozen Expeditions, we immediately got to work. Coordinating with our local partners, we explored every available option and were eventually able to negotiate alternative arrangements.
Despite the challenges, we managed to secure enough accommodation, transport, and supplies for our guests to ensure their expedition could continue with as little disruption as possible.
It's a reminder that booking a dive trip isn't just about finding the lowest price. When you're travelling to remote destinations, things can change quickly. Flights get rescheduled, hotels close unexpectedly, weather affects operations, and logistics can become complicated.
When you book through a specialist travel company like Dirty Dozen Expeditions, you don't have to deal with those problems on your own. We already know the operators, have local contacts on the ground, and can often find solutions that simply aren't available to travellers booking independently.
