TRAVEL SCHEDULE 

  • Day 1 – Flight lands in Koror (ROR). For your convenience, a transfer between Koror Airport or a local hotel and the boat will be provided free of charge on embarkation and disembarkation days. Pick up from hotels is generally between 17:30 and 18:00 on embarkation day. If you are staying in a hotel in Koror before your liveaboard, we will provide pick-up and embarkation transfer details before departure.

  • Day 2 – Expedition begins. Boat briefing, paperwork, an overview of safety and emergency procedures, equipment setup, and our first day of diving.

  • Day 2 until the day before disembarking – Diving in Palau.

  • Day before disembarking – Settle any remaining bills.

  • Disembarking day – Disembark expedition vessel. Transport from vessel to Hotels or Airport.

08:30 – Briefing/Dive 1 (TEC/REC)

10:30 – Dive 2 (REC)

12:00 – Lunch

13:00-14:00 – Briefing/Dive 2 (TEC) & Dive 3 (REC)

15:00 – Snacks

16:00 – Briefing/Dive 4 (REC)

19:00 – Dinner

20:00 – Team Debriefing 

What’s Included in Your Trip?

Avoiding surprise bills at the end of your trip is high on our list of priorities. We include as much as possible so that you can budget accordingly. We are available at any time to discuss your budget for the consumables related to your configuration.

The following is included in a Dirty DozEN Palau expedition:

  • Accommodation during the cruise

  • All meals

  • Fresh coffee from our espresso machine, fruit juice, and soft drinks

  • Two dives per day (TEC), 4 dives per day (REC)

  • 1 x AL80 cylinder per diver. Additional cylinders are available for tec divers at an additional fee.

  • Expedition Leader from Dirty Dozen Expeditions

  • 24/7 support from The Dirty Dozen. We will be there every step of the way for you from the first email to the last dive.

  • Transfers between the airport and expedition vessel on the day of embarkation

  • Transfer between expedition vessel and the airport on disembarking day

You should budget accordingly for these additional costs:

  • Marine and port fees: US$230, subject to change

  • O2, helium, and Sofnolime (tec only)

  • Flights (around US$2000)
