OC TEC CONSIDERATIONS
Relying on purchasing diving equipment, spares, or service equipment should not be your plan for Palau as resources there are very limited. Our expedition vessel has some basic diving equipment, but with so many different configurations on board, it’s important you bring as many spares as possible for your configuration so you won’t be forced to miss any dives.
If you have your equipment serviced before coming to Palau, then use it a couple of times before traveling to ensure there are no problems. Bring plenty of lights, the more powerful, the better. You won’t regret it in the engine rooms!
Certification prerequisites are TDI Extended Range or an equivalent rating that allows you to conduct decompression dives to 50m/164ft or deeper with a twinset and enriched air stage cylinders for decompression. Normoxic Trimix qualifications are recommended although not required. Hypoxic Trimix Certification is required to dive the USS Perry.

The following DIN cylinders are available for OC tec configurations on our vessel:
12L/80 CU FT Twinset (1 x 10L/70 cu ft available on request)
12L/80 cu ft deco cylinders
*There are NO M26 valves or adapters on board, you must bring your own.
*Slings for deco/bailout are provided, but bring yours if you can to have it just right for you!
*Please specify the configuration you will dive in when you book along with the tank sizes you need.
*As there is no means to bank gasses in Palau, all gasses supplied will be charged for, even if they are not used.
